This year we saw just a snippet of what’s to come in 2016!
From minerals, to indoor vertical gardens, geometric tiles, mixed metallics and metals and artisan goods. We will see a greater impact and more dramatic effects coming out of 2015 into 2016. People are feeling more creative and confident in design and following trends, as these days it appears that anything goes, as there are no rules when it comes to combining all these elements.
2016 will definitely continue with some amazing mixtures and combinations once again! Combining the future with the past, we will definitely see this combination of old world and modern industrial, together in the same room. Combining rich colours and textures, greens, coppers and fibres, this will be an exciting trend in 2016. While we will see earthy and organic impacts continue to stay strong, with soft timber tones, organic cottons, soft linens and fabrics. A combination that creates fresh and breathable, neutral spaces for the whole family.
2016 colour palate. Colour authority Pantone has named a pale blue (Serenity) and light pink (Rose Quartz) as the colours of 2016. The pastel trend will be everlasting, decedent, soft and accommodating – perfect for bedrooms, children’s rooms, reading spaces and living areas.
